For many years I have played around with the idea of Husky having a pup. I think before I even created D.E1, the idea was there. Something that was carried from the doodle comic I used to do back in school more than a decade ago, was Husky and Lya having this very "special" friendship. The idea of two of my Evos loving each other so much, sharing very beautiful bonding moments to the point of being rewarded with such a special gift that it is bringing another Evo to life... Man, that's just so heartwarming. So many fantasies I've had that give me so much joy, involving Husky and Lya.
Many things have changed in my story. And even before these changes, I haven't been able to fit Fang into it yet. My plan is to introduce him in a future sequel, but him seeing the light of day during D.E1 is something I still might consider. Other things that have been holding me back is how difficult has been for me to develop Husky and Lya's friendship. Sure, Evos love each other, and it is not uncommon for them to be "intimate," (for a lack of better words) as this strengthens bonds, but it also has been very hard to find the right moment to make Lya and Husky become really close without making it feel forced.
Either way, Fang is official. He is just not there yet. He even has Husky's original name. I think of Fang being a perfect 50/50 mix of Husky and Lya in appearance. And I say appearance since Lya is a mixed Evo with some husky in her. He has Husky's pattern, but with a very light fur tint into him due to Lya's white fur. His eyes are brown, just like Lya's, but somehow also lighter in shade thanks to Husky's blue eyes. His skin is kinda pinkish, probably from Husky's side of his bloodline. As for his behavior, he is surprisingly different than Husky and Lya. These two tend to be very goofy and hyper. Fang is a lot more light-mannered, somewhat resembling Hasky's serious side, as well as Lay. Evidence of this is his choice for hoodies just like the one Hasky wears.
