shouldn't be given into? Classic storytelling 101 - their conflict-fueled, repressed love is true love. The one needs to come out of the closet to be truly happy and the other is in an unsustainable relationship with a much older male that is really about the much older male lusting after him, regardless of how much they both enjoy it. Plus these huge age gaps never end well, for obvious reasons. It's waaaaaay more satisfying to see the closet case and the nerd wind up together. ;)

I think they tried to be as serious as they could (She seemed overall fine with Coop and his sometimes pessimistic/angry tendencies), but it's going to the "Coop is coming to terms with his inner gay side" part of the story now. It's a shame though, she's very lovely and sexy.

It's typical for someone to be mad at the person their significant other is cheating with, but that's dumb imo because the person who cheated in the first place should know better. Plus she's just overreacting. If he's a closeted gay guy then their relationship was a sham to begin with... which is even more reason for her to be pissed at him.

ok to an extent you have a point but, they know each other. He knew they were dating, not only should the guy who started it know better but the guy who continued it should know better too. He is just as much at fault, especially when he was about to go off on his boss because he thought the guy was still married, if anything this makes him a hypocrite. She isn't over reacting, I'm glad that you could handle seeing your Boyfriend and your friend more or less cheating on you with grace, no emotion.
