Just two awesome girls doing awesome girl things together.

It seems that Megan has met something of a kindred spirit in a cute hyena girl named Natalie. Both of them like games and fantasy novels and everything considered "nerdy" by the world at large, but which we all know are awesome, really. I imagine the two of them met in a popular game and hobby store while Natalie was avoiding a rather overbearing cousin of hers. Despite the fact that Natalie's rather shy and self conscious, while Megan is considerably more outgoing, they hit it off immediately. A few more chance meetings at the store, or at the coffee shop next door, and it didn't take too long for the two of them to arrange a girl's night in where they could share their collection and talk about their hobbies and fandoms until early in the morning.

With a huge thank you to skylorforscythe for commissioning this and for giving his watchers a chance to be in a piece of art with his characters. Natalie belongs to him.

And another huge thank you to hanazawa for drawing this, and even including a beautiful background to go along with everything! The art, of course, is hers.

It is. I was really happy to be chosen and this is such a gorgeous image. Everyone needs a night in to indulge in their hobbies now and then, and if you can share with a like-minded friend, all the better.

I wasn't actually present during the stream during which this was drawn, so I don't know. You'd have to ask the artist, I'm afraid. I've only ever played Final Fantasy VI, myself.

I got to play part of 8 many years ago, but I had to give it back to the friend I borrowed it from before I could finish it. Maybe sometime I'll see if I can't get my own copy.

I almost got the Steam version... but... iiiiick. they have a remastered soundtrack that sounds atrocious and you'll want to replace it with the originals. also some crazy anti-piracy device.

Thanks for the warning! I barely ever use my Steam account anyway. I still haven't even downloaded anything to my new computer. If I buy it, I'll certainly be looking for the original.

I'd suggest either getting it for the original playstation or doing roms if your PC could handle it.
