There are some tech geeks around here when the biggest hard drives would hold maybe six gig, at $500 a gig. When my dad got his first truly high-performance computer, it was state-of-the-art: amber screen, *two* floppy drives and a whopping 640k. My first real home computer, also state-of-the-art for 1995, came with 1.5 gig, floppy, diskette *and* --hold onto your hats-- a 24x CD-ROM.
