It's here that Elias has made himself quite at home at. Outside the temple grounds, that was, in the beginning, tending to and harvesting protective, light-bringing plants upon his own accord. What he called his surplus, which outweighed his kept portion by 80% to his 20%, was given to the folk who reside in the temple and, subsequently, those who live in the nearest town whom he'd made good company with, even though he couldn't speak any of the native tongue amongst the more native speakers there. He'd have had to rely on the few who could translate English that he'd already become acquainted with to introduce himself proper. Though far away from his home during his stays here, he was admitted to and taken in by the temple and agreed to monkhood, but would end up teaching the men at the monastery on curiosities about himself about as much as they'd end up teaching him and welcoming him to yet another family's hearts!

Also, he came in with that fundoshi, swapping in and out of the physical plane means clothes from the material side don't exactly join him, and this was something that he brought with him. :x
