Something that I've noticed, when writing, is that ideas often don't go the way you plan for them to. In my case, though, what I end up with is usually superior – sometimes, vastly – to my original ideas. These ideas also have a tendency to spawn other ideas, which usually mutate during the writing process, and so on, and so forth. It's an endless cycle of creativity that is frequently stymied by my lack of ambition… which is why I haven't done any writing since Q4 2017. Weh.
