Maybe they don't actually hate Cooper, but just hate seeing shitty behavior normalized? So if there's any apparent confusion about if what Cooper's doing is acceptable behavior, then they clarify. I've seen emotionally phrased comments like "Bad Coop!" or whatever; while that comment style is not very informative, it is more concise and expressive when the behavioral shittiness is clear and all that remains is expressing disapproval/redenermalization of Cooper's shitty behavior.
In this page, Cooper's not doing anything particularly shitty. So the so-called "Coop haters" have nothing to say on that front. In fact, with how he's turning around, maybe Cooper's even gonna end this comic on a well-behaved note. Maybe.
