I finally got my hands on a working scanner, so I thought I'd scan some old physical-media drawings I've been holding onto. This is a character that a friend of mine came up with a long time ago and we had started working out some kind of story for her with the ambition of creating our own web comic. But years passed and we lost touch. I tried to reach out to him not too long ago, but he never replied. Does that mean he doesn't check that email any longer? Or perhaps he's decided to burn that bridge...
In any event, this cross fox vixen is named Checkers. Well, not YET at any rate. At this point in her life, she still goes by her real name, Jack (because she hated Jacqueline). She was born in a well-to-do family, but despised the company she was forced to be around, so she ran away. She ultimately joined a small-time street gang as the resident hacker. (If I remember correctly, there were TWO hackers in the gang, but she was the 'better' one because she didn't think she was all high-and-mighty.)
I'll elaborate more when I find her character sheet and scan it. I think folks might like that story, too. It's kinda cyberpunk, which I enjoy almost as much as the mushy bullshit I've been writing. :D
Oh, the context... Yeah, if I recall, she was supposed to be yelling at the OTHER hacker to was giving her shit about some sloppy job she tried to pull solo that almost got her busted.
