Zephyr stepped into the train car to have a closer look around.
'Screw it, I'm gonna make my move.' Fred thought to himself.
He got up behind Zephyr and gently put a hand on his shoulder. Then with his other hand he began to place it up his shirt, slightly rubbing the crow boy's stomach.
"Wh...what are you doing Fred?" Zephyr asked as he was surprised by the sudden closeness of his new friend.
"I thought you might be getting cold down here. So I was using my paws to warm you up. I really like the feel of your feathers. I've never gotten to touch a bird before." Fred said quietly whispering where he thought Zephyr's ear might be.
"Thanks! Your really cool, Fred." Zephyr sighed as he relaxed in the arms of his new older friend.
"This might be awkward, but I think your really cute, Zephyr." Fred said smiling to Zephyr.
"Oh, wow, really? Thanks!" Zephyr smiled.
Zephyr was thrilled an older boy was interested in him. He always thought the teens in his neighborhood were so cool. He always observed what they did, how they acted and tried to imitate them. To have one think he's neat was really making him feel good.
"This car seems clean enough. Do you want to rest and cuddle up to keep warm?" Fred asked Zephyr.
"We might fall asleep. I really want to find that station and get home before my parents wake up." Zephyr responded.
The German shepherd teen continued caressing under Zephyr's shirt.
"We could always meet up another time in here to find the station if it gets too late. It's not going anywhere. I'd like to get to know you better, see what a bird looks like under his clothes." Fred boldly said to Zephyr.
Zephyr was a bit surprised. Now it sounded like Fred wanted to be boyfriends. This was all too much too sudden.
"I dunno, Fred.." Zephyr said as he put a hand on the curious paw up his shirt.
He had to think about this. He still didn't know Fred that well. But he didn't want to miss this opportunity to be the object of this cool dude's attention.
