From July or thereabouts. This was a freely done request image for someone called Tigerskitten who happened to stumble over my unconscious near-corpse during a remarkably brief interval during which I was accepting requests.
She requested some sort of 1920s themed "flapper" version of her character. I'm told this was satisfactory. I had some odd decorations floating around for a while that I thought looked neat, but I removed them because they were likely more distracting. Thus marking the first time I ever did that.
I still have plenty of progress images of all these but they are somewhat annoying to assemble, at least right just now, so I suppose from now on unless somebody wants one or I found the process unusually interesting I won't bother.
Yeah, the oddities were just distracting too much, they were too flat, looking like microchip circuits. They shoulda been a bit more 3D, like The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari style, or the background of any of these expressionist paintings, to really fit into your pic:
