Six years. It's been well over six years since I started writing Partners, and I was almost sure nobody would really care about it. Fast forward to today, though, and it's stunning how many people liked my furry sci-fi adventure novel, with its alien invasion and superhero overtones, its dorky, well-meaning protagonist, her brash, foul-mouthed girlfriend and their pack of odd friends.
