Hi, today as latest "Initial D" draw, we have a special gift, a kind of crossover. In fact, in a rival team of Lancer Evo pilots, one of them says "Lancer is the best rally car, the queen of rallies". You know, we Italians are very proud, especially in sports (and motorsports); the real Queen of rallies is the Lancia Delta (friendly called by us "Deltone") Evo Integrale, with many rally championship victories, right at the expense of the rival Lancer Evo at that time.
The Delta's driver is a mistery, maybe an ex Italian rally driver (or F1 driver); to you the choice ;)

In the anime, they never talked about Takumi's family's past. About Bunta is only known that as a young man he always competed with his AE86, and was the undefeated pilot of Gunma.
