It dawned on me after I posted pictures of my Gruntilda costume that I've never really displayed any pictures of my cosplays anywhere else but Facebook, which is odd as I do them quite frequently and am well known for a few, this being one of them! So, to change this here are some photos of my famous Papyrus outfit! Excuse poor quality, I just go with what I can get in a lot of cases.
There's also a surplus of videos of myself online in this outfit, if you're interested which you can view here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-4F8HjIQN4&list=PL... (bit of a jumbled mess, but it's from a panel I took over at my last convention) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSbW6Mk0KP8 (not something I did, but got roped into. I show u at 2:52, was hilarious to act like i had no idea what they meant. Also, a fantastic Mettaton as well)
Yes, the mask is actually a large prop skull from Target, which my friend and I used; we took off the bottom jaw, which fit around my neck and put an elastic band around it so it would stay there. We then cut the back out of the head and put a band around the back of it as well to use as a mask. That way, when I speak, I can move my head, making the jaw flap. We then cut out the eyes a bit and used some sculpting body/hardening bondo to give it it's unique expression-(the original is just a blank, static skull face)-so it would look more like Papyrus and went over it with a good paint/lacquer. The "battle body" is all just EVA foam.

That is absolutely incredible; it looks amazing! Oh man, I would /kill/ to have a similar mask setup and go around cosplaying as Pappy. You seriously look like you had the time of your life wearing it, and it sounds like you had the same building it. Great job, all around; this right here? Goals. Nothin' but goals. :D

You would be correct, he is a lot of fun to cosplay as and the work paid off; it's actually a lot easier then it would seem too, so I'd suggest going for it
