The God of Creation sacrificing herself to save her first version of creation? Wow. I get that it's noble and all, but I'm sure creation could've been even better if she waited until the second or third time around. For example, she could've made creation run faster, so that the next 1000 years was more like 10,000 for the living beings inside. Or 10,000,000 years. Then again, she's probably kinda naive from only experiencing a world of her own creation, and she needed to disappear from the story for the sake of plot. ;-)
Regardless, I look forward to seeing Celestia and Luna trying to be better gods.
