Kazan agrees with this, and he wants a pizza so bad (not only a slice, but the whole pizza).

What's your favorite style of pizza? Definitely my favorite is this one, Chicago style.

I love pizza, but I'm really not a fan of Chicago-style deep-dish. It comes out as basically a cheese pie.
I like Neapolitan pizza - whether with extra toppings, or just the classic Margherita.
I also got used to Detroit-style when I lived in that area - found it a bit bready, but a nice crust..

The picture is great, however!

My favorite is Sicilian pizza, which is really hard to get outside of New York.

Chicago stuffed pizza is pretty good, but it's not what people in Chicago usually GET in my experience. Because it's expensive. The most common pizza in Chicago is 'thin crust', which is like ketchup on a Saltine cracker. And it's cut into little squares. Bleah!

Maybe it's the place where I bought it, but the only time I had this kind of pizza I didn't enjoyed it that much... Mainly because it was 50% (not so tasty) bread =/

I'd get that adorable little pudge all the pizza he could eat (which I'm certain is a LOT!) ;-)

I grew up in New York... so maybe I'm biased, but nothin' ever quite compares those deliciously huge, floppy slices of a fresh Brooklyn style pie.  Something about it, it's like never too bready, never just a pile of cheese (although I love that), the red sauce in just the right amount, and the texture of the crust... no one knows what makes it different, it just IS... most common theory is it has something to do with the local water.  I'm also sure it's no coincidence that even living in other areas, the best pies always seem to come from places with genuine brick ovens (they cook at a very high temp, and a large pizza is usually baked in like 10 minutes... some less I believe, but I'm no cook).

Aside from Brooklyn style, New Haven (CT.) style is very good, and the closest I've gotten to NY pizza outside of NY.  funny thing is, nowhere else in CT. except maybe Stamford is close.  Don't get me wrong, theirs places I like.  But it's still something just 'different' somehow.

Chcoago style is definitely the next on my top 3 though :D   Definitely the most filling of the pizzas.  And fatboy like filling

I'll try not to think anything yiffy for a second (aside that the sign reads partly ASS :3c).

Now, my favorite pizza would be the italian ones that are flat. Pretty simple. Vegetables, tomato sauce, cheese, and meaty stuff like Salmy. Especially Salmy!
