Well, I'm officially 20 years old. Good god, I can't believe I've made it this far. And with so little to show for it. I'm truly grateful for all the people I've met, things I've seen and done, games I've played, all of it. Because if any of it were different, I have a hunch I wouldn't be where I am now. I'm happy.
In honour of the big 2-0, I've decided to simply do a little doodle of my oldest characters (from roughly 13 years ago) while using my modern skill set. Introducing Plup and Lily. A pair of squirrels with super powers. In the left there, you can see a shockingly accurate recreation of how I would've drawn them back then.
Looking back on the storyline, I can smile and giggle at how by-the-books and cliché it was. Plup and his girlfriend, Lily, were part of a super hero team alongside Jasper, a cat with Wolverine-esque extendable claws, and Volt, a baby squirrel with innate electrical abilities. They saved the world against the evil Ashara and his superior Doom.
What do you guys think? Should I revive these characters or let them rest in peace? I look forward to your support on the matter.
But again, it really can't be said how grateful I am to know and have met all of you. You push me forward even when you don't raise a finger to do so directly. Thank you, for everything and for helping me get this far.
