Is what I exclaimed when I saw this little lady crawling on the ceiling. I couldn't help but pick her up and interact with her.
I've dubbed her Mishi and she will be my forever baby.
After interacting with her and enjoying her Jumping Spider mannerisms, I managed to dig through the web she left all over me and grab my phone to snap a pic.
I love spiders, but my favourites definitely have to be the curious little critters that leap like fleas.
Anyways, felt like uploading a pic of Mishi so I can always remember her after I let her go.

No Jumping Spiders aren't indigenous to Brazil. They can be found in many different places.

Not at all. Jumping spider bites merely cause irritation and itching at the location of the bite and are only dangerous to those allergic to the venom.

Is what I wanted to to do, but then I realized it's not a bug, it's a spider.

For some reason, I only have a phobia of bugs.

Entomophobia and Arachnophobia are the fears of Insects and Arachnids separately. Though having one normally constitutes the other, it's completely normal to have one and not the other. My mother is absolutely petrified by spiders, but will actively pick up insects she finds in the house and toss them out.
