You know, there's something odd about that mare, she's not like the other horses in the stable, somehow..... but I can't quite put my finger on it.
Don't get me wrong, now. She's friendly, gentile, absolutely loves attention... It's just that every now and then, I catch a look in her eye, a gaze held a bit too long and I really wonder if she's.... thinking on her own, you know?
Ah, maybe I'm imagining things.
