the zeno samas liked sir elek a lot, they found the wolf funny and amusing from the last time he, along with Prince Torin Zenowing, babysat them, so, the duo decided to set a quick smash like tournament, after sir elek boasted that only he could defeat himself.
so the samas brought an elek from another dimension to fight sir elek.
confusing? yeah :
but, that's how the zenos work. The Tournament rules were simple,the fighters could only be knocked out of the ring THREE TIMES before being eliminated. The defeated fighters would be tied up in order to prevent sore losers from attacking the twins. Torin himself added that to prevent fighters from being erased. Likewise, everyone would be returned home with out any issues once a winner was crowned.
lionmonk was forced to be sir elek's teammate against old man elek and other fighters, including maraikoh, bowser, king dedede and even MASTER KARIN!
somehow, sir elek and lionmonk, finally working as a team, managed to defeat all their opponents, making the zenos very happy, so, after their victory, sir elek and lionmonk seemed to finally start accepting they work well together.
