This is Circuit Cybunny, a new character who has been in mind for awhile, but I've finally drawn when I felt the urge to draw more Robaninjians (technically he's more of a Cyberninjian...or Virtuninjian, as he's a computer program brought to life, and not really a robot like Viraptor, but I digress). He's meant to be the mate of Rizuna and the speed character of her team, living in a Virtual Carnival/Racetrack themed world.
1. He went through many names, Spark was his original name, and his last name was Cirrabbit, Cirbunny, Circuibun, etc, but I didn't feel comfortable calling him "Spark" because it just didn't have the rhythm I wanted for a first name, and I already have another character named Sparky who is a Dranan and lives in Sauradon. Ultimately I call him Circuit cause that fits with the Circus theme of his homeworld and personality (he's a magician of sorts). His last name is Cybunny cause I didn't like having his first and last name be the same (even though I LOVE Circuibun). and YES, I'm aware of Neopets, but with all due respect, let's be honest...
2. Circuit appears robotic due to his legs and hands, but he's actually mostly organic. He's just virtual so he was more so modeled to look like that. His pupils are bright yellow and his eyes are deep blue. His feet are actually somewhat detached from his body as he can kick from a distance and make his feet grow at will, while his hands can be anything he wants essentially. This is somewhat how he normally looks though, but his hands are actually usually paw shaped.
3. This is kind of sardonic, but I actually created him because I didn't want anyone to get the idea that Rizuna would ever fall in love with Kystar as she wouldn't really have been shipped with Starky (especially since as Wolfgang wrote the story, Starky does marry Starlight anyway and Rizuna was purely an AI before she became a Rizu, he did consider making her a mouse but never officially designed her until after he died). Rizuna hates Kystar with a passion for constantly writing bugs and viruses into her home (and generally being a villain), and while Kystar makes fun of her a lot and even sarcastically flirts with her, he's really not interested (especially since technically, if he had a heart, he would've ended up with Darkstar, but he was designed to be Evil Starky and doesn't actually have a heart to love with). They shouldn't be seen as eventual lovers, but more so as permanent rivals, even if they do work together to save cyberspace, and ONLY cause Starky doesn't trust leaving Kystar the only one in the computer room while he's in it....VERY bad idea.
4. Despite number 3, I've been thinking of Circuit for years. Ironically, the other partner of Rizuna, Violet Aerobyte wasn't even going to be a Starmaninjian until I lost the contest that I drew her for... I needed to give this story more love.
