Remington 1858
Pinup YCH for zeak695.

The Bren is a British light machine gun based on the Czech vz.26. Originally chambered in .303 British and later adapted to 7.62mm NATO early in the Cold War, the Bren would serve the British military in some role in every conflict in which they fought from World War II to the First Gulf War in 1991 (though it had almost been entirely replaced by the FN MAG by that point). The Bren was also in service with Army Reserves of the Republic of Ireland as recently as 2006.

My grandpa used a Bren when he was in Her Majesty's Armed Forces REME (Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers) division in the early 50's stationed in Germany. He told me all about swapping the barrel, adjusting the gas port, and how the barrel was cut down and fitted with a flash supressor because with the longer barrel, it was "too accurate". He told me guys would shoot it prone and put rounds through the same shot hole.
