As I said in an earlier picture, "The Beast" is the more violent, emotional, and instinctive side of one of my OC's given physical form. When the character is under great stress, like anger, fear, grief, unrequited love, etc, "The Beast" takes them over and transforms them, kind of like a werewolf. I was thinking about this, and decided to do a picture that would kind of embody what "The Beast" represents: raw, unrestrained power driven by out-of-control emotion. The title is taken from a line in the song "Of Wolf And Man" by Metallica. (My FAVORITE band! :3 )
I like how her muscles, claws, tail and clothes turned out, but this is still a pretty rough drawing. I did it entirely in pen, so I couldn't mess around with it the way I usually do with pencil drawings. But I think I finally managed to get most of the Renamon influence out of her, so I'm happy. :)
