I have some catching up to do with uploads, but I'm more or less getting settled now (going to be moving next week and starting my new job the week after), so that's why art has been slow and probably will be for awhile.
This is Tanooki Noctoon. A friend of Manny Tsunamal and especially Techna Robunny. He's always super sleepy because he's nocturnal, but under those restless eyes is strength high enough to rival Flora. Though you wouldn't notice a difference even if he did sleep properly cause he doesn't express much personality. He has a strong heart though, the only thing stronger than his arms.
1. The "racoon mask" kind of doubles as the eye shadow effect, but is still a very dark violet, almost black.
2. He's not actually sleep deprived. He just seems exhausted all the time because his friends are usually up during day hours, while he prefers to be up at night. This is because his eyes are very sensitive to bright lights (even though where he lives, the sky doesn't get very bright anyway, but the snow does reflect a lot of light). Techna tends to spend the most time with him because her mechanical parts often keep her up way late at night anyway, so she's used to being up at night and sleeping during the morning hours.
3. His voice is incredibly deep and he doesn't speak much. He probably has the deepest voice of all the Starmaninjians, with Botani probably being second place.
4. He is a "Manimal" a group of half Manan/Half animal hybrids. While the concept will probably be reworked as this idea came before I made the custom species and I'm really thinking of just making "Manimal" be the name of thier group and not an actual species like it was before (a term for animalistic Starmaninjians that lack fur?), his fore arms and most of his legs do not have any fur on it, as well as his face. It's all skin. That's also why his nose has dragon nostrils instead of the typical Tsuni snout. (He is part Tsuni).
5. His incredible strength comes from his endurance, much like Flora. He just doesn't really feel pain or resistance and over the years, learned to condense his muscles to the point of being incredibly strong. It's not unusual to see him casually carrying a whole tree as if it's a twig while everyone else is struggling to carry an actual twig.
