One day, Ricky and his mother, Pam, were arguing about schoolwork in front of the twins. Ricky was tired of doing homework and Pam was frustrated at Ricky's lack of effort. Neither side was budging one the issue so Pam told Ricky that he couldn't watch tv or play outside until it was finished. Ricky, in a fit of rage, said that the homework was @&$#@ and that his mother was a !*$&@. Pam became furious at his language. Pam had warned him about using words like that before, especially at others. She was even more mad that he cursed in front of his younger and impressionable step-sisters.
Pam decided that it was time for action. She grabbed her son by the wrist and dragged him to the living room. She had spanked her son on a handful of occasions throughout his life, but realized that this was needed. Pam yanked Ricky's pants down and began to pummel his bare behind in front of his sisters as to show that kind of language wouldn't be tolerated in her house.

After the lecture finished and Ricky rinsed his mouth out, Ricky apologized and Pam forgave him. Ricky quickly finished his homework and went to bed early as an additional punishment from earlier.
