A bit more exposition coming up, this one was a beast, but without that much fanfare sadly. Still, I hope the next page comes out easier, and I hope the lot of you continue to enjoy the comic. Next week we'll find out just what the big bird is after.

I feel that is the choice we make when it comes to our pleasure poisons. they don't demand anything of you but your time and attention. You get what you want (thats the pleasure) and you most likely lose something you need ( thats the poison)
Honestly though we already know that in this situation Cass doesn't even have a choice... but the fact she is having a liesurly conversation with a being that she just saw consume a guy like a bowl of Cap'n Crunch (emphasis on the crunch) I think she is walking down the road to disaster anyway.

"Let me get this straight," she says to the girl with no edges. Man, Eddie being in this comic instantly makes it ecchi. Just her presence alone makes it impossible not to enjoy the unearthly curves of the corvid spinebeast. I also just love how thoroughly she's fucking with Cass at this point. She has all the conversational power and she knows it. And I've never related to Cass more closely than right now.
