Okay so I loved this page even more than I thought I might. Eddie's predatory aesthetic makes everything she says seem like the lead-in for something sinister, but at the same time you can't help but wonder if that's something she can't help. Then she straight up says "I'm a demon." Like what the ass. You just don't know what amount of relatability it's safe to expend on this girl! Then you've got the dime store theatrics that would be appropriate maybe for a community college production but then it's like oh right yeah she just fucking ate somebody and it's just all over the place! If I'm Cass at this point my head's spinning like a top. What is wrong with this creature? What is going on with this person?? Also demons are real what the fuck
So all that said, the visuals: The dynamics of your panels just keep getting better and better, giving us so much interesting stuff to look at, and I don't just mean the perfect topography of Eddie's impossible tit pulling at her weird leather latex skin-dress. The colors, where they appear, are so flippin' vibrant- don't think I didn't notice you coloring everything in cool shades so that the warm burst is neon and searing! Dammit I love this project. :T

<3 I'm quite happy you're so enthused. I'm really do my best to pour myself into these things. Eddie is a fun character to write for and I'm glad that my particular sense of humor is showing through because she's a very good vehicle for it. I've always enjoyed the absurd and being able to combine absurdist comedy with actual horror is something that I miss from when I was a kid. That was always the draw for gothic things, for me, is being able to take dark, creepy and potentially fucked up situations and make them so out there to be funny; being able to accurately gauge when the audience is just breathless or exhausted enough to jab in some levity or something silly to break them out of their fear or sadness exhaustion and keep it from becoming apathy. And Eddie's fun, because she's a multifaceted character, she can be the proper girl, the vamp, the terror, and none of it's OUT of character because it's all part of what she is. It's all about putting on a show and I'm happy to be able to do that for the lot of you.
I tell you what, I'm terrified and exhausted about every single page of this thing. It's a harried and tiring project, but I love seeing everyone's reactions, and this last month has been... amazing as far as people's attentions go (I blame the boobs). I'm just so happy to be amusing people as much as I am. I hope the ride continues as long as I can make it (at least until we get to the proper end.)
