Last year we started a competitive hero twin stick shooter, but due to a number of issues and a change of personel we had to discard the proyect.
These are one of the few concepts that I worked at (we had another person for the senior concept artist role), I was more a support concept artist, my main role was project leader and level designer.
When working on this enemies I stumbled with the challenge of designing them in a way that each one of them has a unique and differenciable silhouette. In order to do it so I had to experiment with a new technique that consisted on painting the silhouette completely black and then adding shading and color.
