Got around to making up the first bad guy battler design for our Chronicles of Acorn game. Had to go with the Swatbot first, he's just so iconic and I've always wanted to take a stab at designing one. xD If you can tell, I have thing for Mega Man X.
So for those involved in our Chronicles of Acorn Baddie Design Contest, this should help give you some idea on the look and style of the baddies in game, hopefully it'll give some inspiration to those maybe struggling a bit to come up with their own design. By no means does your design have to look anything like this however, you're free to create whatever you want! But maybe this'll help in some direction, since we were a bit vague on the look of things before. xD

Firstly, we've recently decided to make things more interesting for the contest, and so now each of the cash prizes are now officially doubled! 1st place will now receive $200 USD, 2nd gets $100 USD and 3rd will get $50 USD.

And lastly, we've just released the first playable alpha build of our game to our Patreon! :) This is just an early test run of things, very raw and without a lot of the original art we have planned for things down the road, but it is still chalk full of good stuff for ya to try out! Lots of secrets and easter eggs and you'll get a good taste for the battle system and even a bit of story as well! The game is exclusive to our Patrons at the moment, but we will eventually release this build for ya'll down the road as well, supporting us on our Patreon just gets ya early access to things is all!
