At last my hands have reached the trains!
I want to bring to your attention the ER9P-81:

ER9 (Electric Riga train, 9th type) - a series of AC electric trains, produced since 1962 at the Riga Carriage Works (RVZ) for the railways of the USSR. Includes Mp (motor intermediate), Pg (trailed head) and Pn (trailed intermediate) cars.

This was my favourite train when I was young... But 15 years ago it was replaced with another one...

I love trains. Locally, the SP 4449 was taken out on an excursion this last weekend. I couldn't go on it, or go watch it, but I did watch some of the progress through twitter. Seeing her at 60mph was absolutely amazing. Just wish I was there to see her in person.

Her sister(they live in the same rail museum... not same type of engine) is currently under 15 year inspection. They've cut out the flues and are doing ultrasound to make sure the boiler is sound

yissssss trains
My personal favorite locomotive has to go to the Baltimore and Ohio EM-1s, I'm so sad that they all got scraped, one was hoping to be preserved but I think do to some miscommunication it was scraped too :(
