Just a recent idea for a possible series to offer YCHs for sale featuring furry versions of historical aircraft nose art.
The nose art featured here is that of B-17 Flying Fortress "The Pink Lady." This particular warbird was the only flying example of a B-17 which had participated in combat operations over Europe during the war still in existence. She also appeared in the film Memphis Belle where she portrayed B-17 "Mother and Country." As of 2010-11, "The Pink Lady" has been grounded and currently resides in Cerny-La Ferté Alais, France, with the possibility of a future overhaul to return the old warbird to the sky once more.
