So ugly, they're cute!  Or something.

The finished version of my non-entry meant for a recent promotional contest by Furcadia.  Such is life.

In this case, it was not so much turning oneself into a stuffed toy as imagining one's Furcadian character as a cabbit.  That mine ended up also as a plush doll from the '80s was a sacrifice for the pun.  For the record, I wasn't big on the '80s franchise itself.

Yesterday, my laptop crashed and then crashed further. Today it took me 6 hrs to psych myself up to trying again,in preparation to taking the laptop to Staples for a total reconstruction. To my surprise, all the trouble cleared up !

Furcadia does have a plush toy avatar (one of the for-pay Digos), the Pookie.  Despite the name, it's not a teddy bear.  Rather, it can be best described as a teddy cat.  A seasonal variant also exists, the Santa Paws, which is basically a Pookie wearing a Santa hat.

Despite the impossible species* ,you captured the facial look of a cabbage patcher perfectly.

* Efforts to cross cats & rabbits have failed, because the genetics & the mating physiology are incompatible. Even gene-splicing fails .Pure fantasy.

Genesynthesis Labs and its work may remain pure fantasy.

Thanks. :)  In cases like this, I prefer to look up references rather than trust my memory. :p

* As I understand it, the original Cabbit was a Tenchi Muyo character who appealed to the fanbase.  Coupled with the mythical hybrid, the fictional species was spawned.  Furcadia recently decided to add a feral cabbit (with wings) to its lineup of for-pay avatars called Digos, specifically of the Minkin set.  This particular CBK's pattern is based on my Justin StinCoy avatar which was originally formalized on Furcadia back when I joined.
