Juna is the tavern/inn keeper of Aspen Village and runs a fairly successful business serving food, drink, and renting out rooms to travelers and merchants passing through. She originally inherited the tavern she runs when her uncle passed away along with a lot of debt. To pay off some of this debt, she took up numerous jobs, one of the most notable being that of a dancer, and grew an obsession to have her tavern be the best and run the most efficiently that it could possibly run.
She is flirty and rambunctious and a very independent business woman who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty and do manual labor. Often, she prefers to do the work her self rather than have her two employees do it if she can.
She often comes off as rather strict when she isn't being flirty but does have a motherly side to her but is very private with it. She does have a semi-adopted son, Snowfur, who she cared for in the years following the murder of his parents. Though he lives at her tavern with her, Snowfur has his own independent streak and comes and goes as he pleases.
Juna is an avid coin collector and loves collecting different currencies (the more rare and valuable the better) just as much as she loves profit. She is a bit on the greedy side but her philosophy is that you have to be a bit greedy if you want to be successful. Making a steady profit is one of her topmost priorities. She would make a pretty good accountant if she wasn't running her own tavern.
Being a bartender most of the time, Juna is actually quite skilled at breaking up fights and hand-to-hand combat. She's mainly learned by experience and observing and isn't a bartender you should piss off. Her strength is comparable if not better than most average males of her kind.
Juna does live in her tavern, it's both home and business to her. While the guests stay in the rooms on the second floor, Juna has her own private quarters on the first not too far away from the bar and kitchen.
She WILL be in Demordicai Diamonds before the end of the first story arc. She is the most prominent character next to Rune and Dalken and plays a very large roll in the tale. There is a lot more to her than what I've outlined here but I can't go and reveal everything, I'll let the comic do that. Can't go spoiling too much story.
