While out railfanning, Tom captures a Santa Fe ALCO PA on its final run in revenue passenger service. Tom was an extreme fan of ALCOs. Though this maybe his first and ONLY time he'll ever catch one.

In the summer of 2012, I saw an old Santa Fe passenger locomotive parked on a railroad overpass in Witchata, Kansas. There was an old steam locomotive parked near it.

It was either an ALCO, FP45, a GE U30CG, or an F unit. wasn't it?

I didn't pay too much attention to the model. I was driving on the street under the overpass when I saw it. If I had to take a guess, I would say a General Motors, Electromotive Division, E-8 or E-9. I definitely remember the red and silver colours with that "S" design.
