The Mark-3 version of the Doberonen's standard issue battle armor is a marvel of the modern armorer's art.
The hard-shell parts are made of a classified Titanium Hyper-Alloy composite that can withstand an incredible amount of punishment (the exact amount is classified) and come back for more.
The "soft" part is actually a one-piece bodysuit with energy dissipating layers over a pressure retaining "skinsuit" for EVA operations.
The helmet has imaging sensors and displays to allow the wearer a full dose of situational awareness. In EVA mode, retractable faceplate panels slide out from the sides and lock in place to allow the wearer to breathe.
As tough as it is, the armor is really mostly for the protection of the soldier's electronics suite, as a Doberon can take almost as much punishment as his/her suit.
