I have encountered the terminology "bottomless" to describe people places or things that do not dress themselves properly.  However, when this situation arises all I can think of are ads for places like The Olive Garden promoting a "bottomless pasta bowl" and whatnot. I do not go to these places.

Or a place advertising bottomless pop... "No dad, the pants stay on!"

I didn't know that sort of thing was being advertised these days.  It has more meaning if it's spontaneous!

Oh you mean like sodee-pop?  Thankfully nobody calls it that 'round these parts.

Yeah, I knew I was taking a risk on that joke.

Silly regional phrasing... Pop, Soda, Seltzer, Coke, and that's just North America.

Would you like a carrot?

Oh, thanks, but it was rather the bowl of pasta(?) that was causal to my feeling of hunger.

The carrot should still be OK . . .

I was sitting in the IndyFurCon lobby eating a bunch of vegetables yesterday. I think I might have been the only one - everyone else seemed to have fast food. :-/

I am often surprised at the food people have at those things.  There are plenty of eatley locations in the immediate vicinity and folks will walk thirty blocks to get to a McDonalds.  Granted, that's probably the only way to justify going to McDonalds, but unless you've traveled from a town that doesn't have McDonalds I have to think you'd be open  to alternatives.  Although I say that as somebody who has drank Coke and Snapple in every state I've visited, and only avoided Wendy's during the most recent anthro-con because I wasn't sure where it was and thought it might be closed.
One of the thinnest people I know eats at McDonalds a lot, but he only gets french fries and drinks a lot of milk in his spare time.

The familiarity is one thing - it's not enjoyable for everyone to take a risk when you just want to consume something edible and get back to the con - but it might also have something to do with the fact that furries are cheap.

I have too avoid buffets, because I try to be cost effective :(

Olive Garden is awesome though.  I love their salads, and pasta, and breadsticks, and desserts, and wines.....

But it always takes like, 15+ minutes to get a freaking table.  During meal times it can take over an hour, it's messed up.

Looks to me like she's forgotten something -- a tray, to carry all that stuff.
