Danger, Squirrel Robinson!
An older work drawn and colored a few years back when I'd been futzing around with making my own calendar with pictures I'd drawn.  This jerboa was to be Ms. May, but I lost interest in the project before I could put her on a background.

Well, upstate we did not have jerboas, but we had jumping mice. I know because snaptraps caught 2 of them.

Understandably so.  Jerboas aren't native to North America (we have kangaroo rats), but thanks to convergent evolution, other rodents have developed similar bodies.
