I can agree that the third character is definitely a dude. Proportions definitely match. The way the body looked, however, I had actually thought it was Blaze from how the head was shaped, minus the ponytail thing she has, so maybe its a cat?

Thats what i thought but it seems a little obvious that it would be a cat? also there isn't any sign of a long tail anywhere, and the ears seem to have fluffy points similar to werehogs ears at least it kinda looks that way, but it's hard to tell, thats why i figured it might be a dog/wolf. but it could possibly be a cat again

I guess he will show up on a cutscenes or something. Also kinda feel like classic Sonic shouldn't be in this game. It just feels like they brought it in because the gen game was successful. Like when they put wisps in the sonic lost world.
I really hope this game is good! I am really really tired of half finished games with memoriable glitches and annoyance. I don't have my hopes up though...
