Probably still wrestling with his own sexual identity too, meaning he also probably has no idea why he hates Andy so much right now. Andy sees Cooper as a one-dimensional asshole, like most of the comic readers do, it seems, which is why he doesn't even consider the idea that Cooper actually likes him in any capacity. That would be my best guess as to what exactly is going on.

I saw the first page of that some time ago. I didn't know that more had been released. I've read it now and I can't say that I'm surprised, but what I can say, and I might get flak for this, is that Cooper may now be the most interesting character in this comic to me, simply because I love character development, and he has the most room to grow out of both him and Andy, even if he and Andy don't end up together, which could be just as interesting as them actually ending up together.

I dunno but nothing I have seen so far seems to require Andy apologizing for anything, every time he tries to be civil he gets crapped on by Cooper (and yes I know some people will say this is taking things too seriously as its a comic.) I try to enjoy the comic cause its something to enjoy and yes some go well out of their way to justify and critisize the actions. I do it to an extent. If cooper gets andy ok press on bit if not same thing. Its up to the artist/writer in this case tondecide. I'm for happy endings cause not everything is in real life.

I kinda can't feel any pity for Cooper. He teased Andy before his presentation. Someone took notice and decided to go for it. By appearance, Andy got the position, and only got it because Cooper teased him beforehand. However, it was Cooper being childish then that led to Andy's success. And now, Cooper hates Andy for it as he feels he wouldn't have gotten that position if not for himself.
Of course, Andy isn't helping matters by antagonizing him with it as well. However, considering how bad Cooper teased him with everything, I agree Andy should get a chance to relish in the moment and tease him.
