Character Description
Vanessa is a Vampire Vampire Bat, thanks to the cosmos having a sense of humor. Her entire family is a clan of centuries old Vampires, deeply rooted in tradition, though thanks to her non-vampire mother she thinks a bit differently and does all she can to buck tradition, to the point of dating a werewolf. She's attended the same school as Sonic since kindergarten and is one of his closest school friends. She is also the president of the Photography club, which he joined to get a counselor off his back. When out during the day, she uses her thick wings to protect herself from the sun, wearing the strongest sunblock possible. She also tend to avoid crossing rivers using bridges, anything with garlic, and silver jewelry. Only Sonic, and the other members of Photography club know she's a Vampire, and she's dead set on keeping it that way. Her diet is mostly raw meat, with an occasional bit of blood from anyone she can get away with attacking.
Personality
Vanessa is very sure of herself, coming from wealth and all. She tends to think she's the most capable thinker in the group, despite that actually being Sammy Snake. Her vampire nature also makes her act polite when visiting anyones house, as she needs to be given permission to enter.

Background/History
Born to the immortal Stoker Clan of Vampires, Vanessa is the first female child to be born in 5 centuries. As a vampire, her maturation was faster than that of most other children, and she was the target of annoying bullies on her first day in Kindergarten (Something her mother demanded her father let her do). Before she could attack them and reveal her vampire nature though someone stepped in and stopped the head bully, someone named... TOMMY TURTLE! Challenging the head bully to a race around the playground, Tommy took a chance that could lead to him becoming a victim, and earned Vanessa's gratitude, and the friendship of a few other victims. Of course Tommy ended up winning, and teaching that bully a lesson. The next school day the bully came up to Tommy and Vanessa's table and apologized for what he did and asked to be friends. That bully was none other than... SONIC THE HEDGEHOG! For the next few years Vanessa hung around with Sonic, Tommy moving away to a different country, and met many new friends, like Sammy Snake, Rotor Walrus, Tina Jackal,and the loveable country bumpkin, Luno Wolf. After getting to know Luno, and his dark secret of his battle with Lycanthropy, Vanessa decided to attempt a relationship with Luno. Two years later they are still going strong, and Luno is gearing up to face Vanessa's family to seek permission to marry her.

Body
Vanessa is a curvy bat, with blue fur, purple hair with red tipped bangs. Her wings are huge, with a black skeletal frame, and red interiors. Her muzzle fur is very pale, and she wears black lipstick.
Clothing
Vanessa wears a torn black top with a red collar, connected to an open v-neck. Her pants are also black and torn at the bottom. Her heels are red with a grey sole.
Accessories
Vanessa is never without her Red Archers chest plate, perfect for deflecting wooden stakes. She also carries around her family rapier, the blade a rich red with a golden hilt (The real value lies in the silver handle, covered by brown leather to discourage thieves), she has a brown belt, which her camera case is attached to.
