Been working on this for awhile now. Figured the best way to explain what Nether Dragons are and how they work was to do a sheet on their lifecycle.

Feel free to ask any questions!

Nether Dragons are created by me and live in the world of Monumendo.

So ... if I read this right, under the "An Immortal Pact" once a nether drake bonds with a soul they stay with that soul 'forever'?? Every time the soul is reborn the nether drake goes with it?? That's so cool.

suddenly im concerned for jewel *glances at the nether siting on his shoulder* does being away from luma for an overlong period of time harm a nether dragon? cuase im sort of immortal so um...my soul aint crossing that gap any time soon unless i find an astral bridge that lets me slip in while still alive...and i dont tend to like diveing into the soulstreams of worlds like that you....pick up things...its easy to loose yourself in age old memories and such...

Na, no issue. The nether dragon doesn't return to Luma when the host passes to Otherworld. The binding is symbotic between the host and nether.

Wow such depth of Nether Dragons in general, it's amazing! Though I do have a couple questions: Can Nether Dragons die? And if they die, will their host's soul be lost forever?

Na, they are immortal.

I have played around with their being some kind of creature that devoures them in Otherworld, but if that did happen the host would be devoured at the same time (at this stage though, that doesn't happen).
