I got the idea for this from smartphones and other technology we use on daily basis being such a huge part of our lives that the internet is considered a need. The way they're marketed as being a necessity... just makes you wonder how far technology will go being intergrated into our lives.

Like an apple spam email (why do developers get these friggen emails?) showing your father how much you love him with an iPad with his name engraved for about fathers day, and the same thing for mothers day, valentines day, etc. Has this stuff replaced the generic jewelry gift. If so, nothing shows your love like an augmented cybernetic spine, now in white!

I like that.... really good. how far would they go.... I remember a film cant remember it's name, about a computer chip in the brain for the sole purpose of creating more advertising space. but the people that get the chip think there something else.

Sounds like an Apple product =p. Yeah I'm sure I've seen that movie too... I thought Idiocracy was a pretty good imagining of how society will end up if we're too reliant on technology to think for us. Marketing and technology gone nuts.

Actually you might not be far from the truth for the near future. Bionic materials that have or are being developed and organic possibilities of 3D printing new limbs and organs might make for a very interesting future.

It does. I some cases I think it will improve some peoples lives wonderfully, but in others will just be for vanities sake. Similar to the application of botox nowdays.
