Sheeze (or frequently "jeez" or "sheesh") is sort of a light cuss word, such as one might use "Whoops" in a slightly sarcastic way or "Oh god". I believe the form 'Jeez' is used in a slightly blasphemous sense of sounding like "Jesus", so for the comic I used Sheeze so as not to imply a religious structure to that world :)
