Sharks: This is Halloween
Heather & Placid's Holiday Mood: Together for the Holidays
Heather and her alligator gal pal get ready for a day of swooshing down the alpine slopes of some snow covered mountain. If they enjoy such things I guess they really were spoofing with that electric blanket. It was fun designing winter wear for this pair. For Heather's coat, I picture it having a hood similar to Spock Prime's in the 2009 Star Trek movie.

They must exercise a lot given they're both exothermic, but it's a really fun image:) Can just see them at mammoth:P

I keep thinking that there's perhaps a system that circulates heated fluid through the clothes they're wearing to help them regulate the temperatures.  Part of that circulation might be made possible by the motion of their own bodies as they go about various activities.  Perhaps the motion even contributes to a mixing of chemicals that produce comfortable levels of warmth.

Sounds like a Still suit from DUNE, but redone to keep warm vs cool. Certainly plausible, maybe they have small heatpacks strewn throughout the suit along with a circulating fluid in thin tubs so that vs a bulky pack it's low-profile?

That's probably where I got the inspiration from without really thinking about it.  I figure though that there have to be a ton of labs and inventors working to overcome various characteristics like feathers, talons, tails, exothermic vs. endothermic metabolisms and dozens of others that humans never have to ponder in creating products.  At one point I was going to try to design such things for use in the various worlds I try to draw but never have gotten around to it.

Again, love the depth of your universe; for example, some Cetaceans may have to wear full body socks filled with water to keep their skin moist, things that humans would likely never think of

Amphibians might have to wear such a thing too such as salamanders and frogs.  Or immerse themselves frequently in a tub.  There are so many possibilities with different creatures.  Snails and slugs might have clean up kits for the sake of their other species friends, for example.

very true... I imagine mandatory de-lousing might happen in certain neighborhoods among the fur-gifted residents

Would certainly be rather fitting on her.

It should be if it's in her size.
