The Saiga-12 is semi-automatic shotgun built on the Kalashnikov platform. Due to American import regulations and restrictions regarding firearms, Saigas are sold in a more "sporter-like" pattern such as seen on most hunting shotguns; however, companies such as Tromix provide conversion services which make the weapon more practical while also abiding by American firearm laws.
