#19: Sharpedo
"Nicknamed 'the bully of the sea,' Sharpedo is widely feared as its cruel fangs can crunch through iron and grow back immediately if they snap off. Just one of these Pokémon can thoroughly tear apart a supertanker. Sharpedo's skin is specially textured to minimize drag in water which allows it to swim at speeds of up to 75 mph by jetting seawater out of its backside; it's drawback however, is its inability to swim long distances."

Sharpedo is just one of those indisputably cool Pokemon, I mean it's a shark... AND a torpedo! Honestly I could just end the description there. But I won't! Besides a slightly ludicrous Pokemon entry (but really, how is that anything new?) a not-so-great looking Mega; it's nice and all and it definitely deserved one but I prefer it's original design, and a nickname that doesn't seem to stick; seriously, it's stated as the bully, ruffian AND gangster of the sea in multiple Pokedex entries. Which is it guys!? Sharpedo's still pretty solidly cool which is saying a lot since it came out during the beginning of the decline for Pokemon designs.

It's always been one I like fiddling around with, not one of my usual main 6 but a good alternative when I feel like switching things up. The only caveat being that, well what else can I say about it? It's a fucking scud shark, I literally can't say anything else about it. It's not the best, but definitely not the worst, nothing I'd place higher then this and it turned out being a hell of a lot easier to draw then I expected especially since it took me forever to figure out how I wanted to go about it's picture. Honestly I really wanted to do a JAWS spoof, but I've seen a lot of those done and really well at that. I'm not one to shy away from ideas just because they've been done but when they've been done so well that I really can't add anything to it? What's the point! So yeah, Sharpedo is actually one of the last I drew because of my indecision, really wanting to do that but not at the same time. In the end it resulted in kind of a lackluster picture but it still looks decent in my opinion.
