What? Were you expecting her to take them back to her hotel room and blow their fragile little minds? As fun as that would have been to draw, I have to stay somewhat in the bounds of reality here. Francine isn't my character for one. And two, if you're familiar with the character, she seems to prefer mature and dangerous Don Karnage types over yummy little college boys.

A final thanks to Ratiries on FA for use of her character and to Defuret on FA for helping me with the translations over the few months I spent on these pages..

Hehe, of course the Frenchy Quebecois wouldn't be able to hold his liquor.

But in Kitchy's defense, he is quite small.

I've seen 6' 300lbs men who could get drunk after a Mike's hard Lemonade, and 5'3" 120 lbs men who could out drink Wolverine.

Sadly I don't think there is much of her around. The artist came up with her and drew a few cool pictures, some fan art was done, but that was it. I see a lot of that around the furry community. Folks come up with these cool characters and ever do anything with 'em.

That was a really fun section for me, trying to follow the conversation. I speak a little French, but as has been stated earlier, Quebecois is pretty much its own dialect, as opposed to the French spoken in, say British Columbia or Alberta Canada.

And from my own travel experience, pilots do tend to be gregarious when you meet them on the ground, especially if you show any interest in their profession. Long hours alone with a small flight crew and cabin crew each day would make conversations with others all the more precious, I would imagine.

I like the way this strip has been developing. The situations and characters have a very real and natural feel to them. Even the somewhat improbable "air pirate" mystery lady / guest cameo featured in this last segment was blended into the story in a very reasonable way. Well done!

It's funny, I never knew French-Canadian was different than regular French until I posted one of these on FA with them speaking French and had people correct me.

Yeah, I grew up not far from the US/Canada border, on the West coast. My family traveled frequently to the British Columbia and Alberta Canadian provenances on Summer vacations, when I was still in elementary school and high school. My birthday is in Summer, so for a while I almost always was in Canada on my birthday, celebrating with kids I met while camping. I enrolled in French lessons in the 7th grade, when I got frustrated that I got left out of the conversations with some of the kids my age when on vacation in Canada, because they talked in French. What I learned in two years of basic French classes in the USA, taught as an after-school elective by my 7th grade teacher, was fine for the Western Canadian provinces, but my Canadian friends warned me to bear in mind that Quebecois was a very different dialect, if I ever traveled that far east.

I'd have to say. Old fashioned stuff like a steam engine powered airship (NOT a blimp) is something that I do like to look at, talk about, and even have. But it seems she is an aviation assistant. Like the people who tend to you on a plane. So I would definitely talk to her all day if possible. Though I have no clue as of to what species she is. That I would really like to know. I would like to see the rest of this comic but I'm afraid there might not be anymore than this.

She is a Black-Backed Jackal(Canis mesomelas) according to her creator.

There will be more comic, I've just been out of town the last few days and I have a friend visiting. I will resume updates on Thursday or Friday.
