A bunch of fighting scenes I drew traditionally for multiple purposes:
- To practice more exciting poses with the characters - To work more with Archie characters - For adding more to the SFW category - For displaying complex poses so other artists can work with a guideline
Note: I chose the Vs fights randomly i.e. I don't favorize any of these rivalries. Sometimes the characters seemed to fit in physiques, others in color schemes etc. Please do not be upset if they don't follow canon. Thank you~
All these fighters are drawn blocking and/or dodging so no one is really in advantage. Also left out weapons such as Thunderbolt's electrical devices (although Sgt. Simian's grenade is an exception).
There's more to come in the future with different characters - the Sonic universe is chock full of others I can still use, heh~
Thanks, valdisfoxy~ It was fun indeed to draw these, if the audience's reception stays this good, I'm encouraged to do another bunch with other characters~

Wow! Thank you for this great compliment!~ If anything, maybe just as a sketch artist or scenarist, the inkers and colorists are already top of the line :D

These are awesome and amazing. Very cool work stylizing the sonic characters in the fight scenes. The poses look great. Love the fight between Sally and Bunny <3. Fantastic work dude, good too see something with sonic characters that's SFW.

Many thanks for your compliments~ The one with Sally and Bunnie was one of the most fun to draw, they work well together as friends/pair/antagonists so much, it was a delight :3 Also glad to hear you concur with the SFW, the gallery needed some of this stuff and maybe others who make comics can pick up some ideas from these!

Those action poses... Mmmn! Delicious! I remember purchasing the Sonic Archie comics about a decade ago to view all the cool panels in it. I don't recall all of the characters here, but you got that Sonic Archie comic touch. They all look amazing. :) The last one is funny to me because it looks like Vector got his attack used against him.

Sega seriously needs to make a Smash Bros.-like Sonic fighting game with ALL suitable characters in both canon and comic book universe as well as "assist" characters. That would be great. :D

The thing is, they tried it already years before which resulted in Sonic the Fighters. Smash Bros. perfected the concept of Multifranchise fighting game, and because of that they pretty much put the stamp over your idea - which is a neat idea in fact :) Archie characters need to be involved generally more with the games.

I know. That's why I said they should consider a Smsh Bros. inspired Sonic fighting game with the entire Sonic universe character and maybe a kickass sidescroller fighting campaign mode with all characters crossing over to band together to fight some great evil that's obviously not Robotnik/Eggman. XD

The one with Tails fighting Fiona is totally my favorite of all these pictures. Too bad that never happened. It would have been really awesome to see Tails and Fiona fighting each other in the comics. And also, Chip/Light Gaia vs Charmy?! Aaww, no! Poor Chip, he obviously doesn't wanna fight, at all. And Charmy is just going all violent on him.
