Episode 3: New Neighbor
“San Sanzabar has multiple stories told at the same time and this one is one of a particular Bunerean who is close to Mindy.”
The morning after the sleepover, Saevi arrives at home and says to Sharon who is getting ready, “Hi, mom, I’m back and I had fun and made two new friends.” Sharon smiles and says “It’s good your making friends, I got some packages to run and I hear there is a new neighbor coming in today, I want you to go over to their apartment and greet them, I hear they have a Penitatas boy and he would probably be thrilled to have at least one friend. Be back by 9:00 PM for your government required spanking, says Sharon as she opens the door and heads down the fire escape being she uses parkour moves to deliver packages. Saevi puts her stuff down and says to herself, “OK, get prepped for the visit and of course try to be nice because I don’t think I want to not make a friend with a neighbor. Got to remember not to mention Mindy, Stella, or Karlina to him because it might scare him.”
After a few hours, Saevi sees movers going down the hallway as Jack Glacier, her dad also helps them being he is a big strong polar bear as Saevi says, “They are moving him in and I cannot see him yet. I see some Annabelle Price CDs and a poster, wow a fan of Annabelle Price, and it is a signed poster. We have something in common with Annabelle. A lot of caps so he must wear caps. Paddle is not used much, so they must be new.” She then sees a white mouse with a Gen II collar and hides as his parents says “I heard the neighbors have a Penitatas themselves. I believe she is a Bunerean and her mom is a courier who was a ninja and her dad was in the Glacier Defense Force”, said his mother. “Oh wow”, said the boy a little upset about moving to San Sanzabar “I liked it better in Banta, I liked the combination of jungle and city.” “You’ll get used to this city, maybe make a friend or two. San Sanzabar is a great place to make friends.”, says his mother. “Fine, I’ll give San Sanzabar a try, sheesh”, says the boy.
At noon, the apartment was fully decorated as Saevi knocks on the door as a Pandaren male answered the door and said to Saevi, “Who are you?” “My name is Saevi and I live next door to you guys. Sharon Shadowpaw sent me.” “You’re the neighbor girl? Come on in, my son is in his room listening to that stupid Annabelle girl’s CDs.” Says the man letting Saevi in. “Annabelle is a model for us Penitatas, her perseverance in wanting to be a popstar shows that Penitatas no matter how small they are”, explains Saevi, “In terms of impact, she is second most recognizable Penitatas and second only to Virtuoso.” “Just go before I get made”, growled the male as Saevi runs towards her apartment scared. “Who was it”, asked the boy’s mother. “It was a salesperson and nothing more.”
After recovering from the scare, Saevi paces her room trying to think of a way to make friends with the new kid without having to deal with his dad. “Maybe the old...no that never works. How about…no I would go to jail doing that. Got it, I’ll do the old bump routine and introduce myself to him”, says Saevi as she rushed out of her apartment.
On the streets, the boy was walking as Saevi bumps him and they both fall on their asses as the boy says “Watch where you’re going, you big…cute girl.” “Hi, I’m Saevi and I live next door to you in the apartment.”, says Saevi as she introduces herself. “My name is…my name is…my name is Taraji and I know it’s a girl’s name, but my original parents wanted a girl”, says Taraji as he introduced himself blushing wildly. “Is something…”, asked Saevi as she was interrupted by Taraji putting his finger over her mouth who then says, “Don’t ruin this moment with words cutie-pie.” Saevi blushed herself keeping quiet also kinda falling in love with him. “Want to go get something at Bland Burger, if you have one here”, asked Taraji. “Sure, we have one here it’s on Frontline Avenue not far from here”, answers Saevi as she leads him to the Bland Burger.
At Bland Burger, they approach the counter as Paige, who is working the counter, says to them, “Welcome to Bla-a-a-a-a-and Burger-r-r-r-r, may I take your-r-r-r-r order-r-r-r-r-r”. “Yes, I would like a Carrot Cream Shake and make it a large one.”, answers Saevi. “Yeah, and I would like a large Cheese Milkshake.” Paige types in the order and says “The price min-n-n-n-n-n-nus the Penitatas Discount-t-t-t-t-t that comes to-o-o-o-o-o-o 200 credit-it-it-it-its”. “I’ll pay for it”, says Saevi, but she is stopped by Taraji, “No, it’s the place of the man to pay for it”. Tajari then punches in his mom’s ID and it deducts from her account. “Approved, have a nice-ice-ice-ice day-ay-ay-ay”, says Paige as she gives them their order as the scene freezes. “Pause the episode. You know me and I came here to explain the shakes. Flarth being a melting pot of cultures, Bland Burgers on Flarth and even outside of Flarth expanded their menu to cater to all the other planets so flavors like Cheese, Fish, Bamboo, and Carrot alongside the old-time flavors. Well, this talk is making me hungry so I’m going to cut the explanation here and get something to eat”, says Kashina as the scene cuts to them walking down the avenue while drinking their shakes. “So I see you like Annabelle Price, the Penitatas Popstar”, says Saevi. “Yeah, what Penitatas doesn’t like Annabelle Price, I seen her live in Banta and even got her autograph. She’s a nice person when you see her in person so caring to her twin sister, Isabelle, and her best friend, Myra”, says Tajari as they arrived at the apartment building, “Here we are, home. I’ll see you tomorrow maybe.” “Sure, it’s a date”, says Saevi kissing Tijari then going their separate ways.
The bunny found love in this tough life of a Penitatas, but is it meant to be and how will Mindy affect the relationship? These answers maybe answered in the next episode of the Mindy Show.
