I have some old 16mm films of me bashing the heck out of pots & pans, and I think we still have the battered utensils ! I don't think the 16mm films are runnable, but hopefully they can be copied. Nitrate films rot into a fungus-like mass and even the later acetate films eventually start exuding a strong acetic acid odor.
