(This was originally named "Livin' the Dream", but I feel people would take that title the wrong way. I didn't mean it to be a negative thing, like I'm mad that I'm hot and sweaty and I'm so annoyed I wanted this DAMNED FURSUIT, but as a joke that I'm happy I get to run around as a giant kitty, but the toll of the heat and sweating is weighing down on me. I'm happy anyway, though. Also, by the way, I don't have my fursuit yet. :( )
(I also had the idea for Ruining the Magic, but it doesn't fit the spirit of this picture.)
So, I got the idea to make this from pictures of drawn fursuits (and, I don't mean concept art, I mean art of people in fursuits) and a particular image of some anime girls sweating to death, taking off their fursuit heads and looking in pitiful, hot sorrow at the viewer made me think: "Maaaaaan, I really want to draw Rig like that!"
My friend also egged me and on and I said, "Well, I DID want to draw Rig in a fursuit. Why not make her suffer as well?"
I wish I didn't do that. XD

Just, I wish Rig wasn't so sick-looking in it! It makes fursuiting seem like a BAD thing! D:>
I should have made her sweaty, but smile a bit, to show, the hard work of being a cute animal takes a toll on you, but at the end of the day, it's really fun to make people smile. :)
But I also remember that another joke was supposed to be that Rig looks miserable and Rig is permanently smiling and happy, contrasting what her wearing is feeling.
I want to get my fursuit from Lemonbrat (AND NO ONE/THING/FORCE IN THIS WORLD IS GOING TO STOP ME! >:D *empty wallet* ...oh yeah.) and I tried to base her eyes on how I THINK they might look from them. I had a time figuring out how they'd look, because Lemonbrat has never made half-closed sad eyes before... :( I just hope they won't mind making them for Sonja, because I can't imagine her looking anyway else...
I was going to originally have Sonja be clawless (actual fursuit, not this picture) (so I don't unintentionally claw anyone ;-; and because Sonja rarely brings hers out (she only does it to file them on her scratching post or when she's pretending to be intimidating. She's so cute when she thinks she's scary. ^-^ #demeaningmyowncharacter2016)) I changed this later because she'd be permanently declawed in fursuit form and there's no WAY I'm supporting that.
Retractable Claw Fursuit Pawsᵀᴹ need to exist, bro.
Also, they're transparent, hence why they take on the color of the toe they're on.
I like 3D eyes, and that's why she has overly detailed and shaded ones to simulate that.
I really, really hope they'll make her eyes half-closed. Not exactly how I drew them, but in that style basically.
This is the first time I've shown Sonja with the white eyebrow on the right side of her face.
I've also draw Sonja with whiskers... *GASP* ACTUALLY ATTACHED TO HER FACE!!!! THE FURMANITY!!!!!!!!
